Post his ‘I have a family to feed’ comments, Latrell tried several times to get a gig with different teams, all unsuccessfully. I hope he never works in the NBA again…

Remember the days when the NBA was made up of good clean role models? Jordan, Pippen, Ewing, Bird…all true athletes who recognized that their gift was just that, a gift - “being like Mike” was a good thing to say because Mike was a good guy to be like (minus all the gambling and infidelity, but that wasn’t overtly obvious back in the day). Now you’ve got the Iverson’s, Bryants, and that candy ass who played on Indiana and climbed into the crowd …. what was his name? Disgrace? Yeah that was it….
Anyways, the audacity of the American athlete has just reached new heights and I think it sucks. Take Sheffield’s accusations that Latino’s advance because they are non-controversial…I think it’s because they are humble and don’t like to mouth off to the coaches, they aren’t pains in the ass like he is….despite being gifted. I long for the days of Gretzky’s, Messier’s, Lemieux’s, Joe Carter, Kirby Puckett and Ozzie Smith.
way to bring attention to it - i think it’s awesome. How, btw, do you get all those widgets on your blogstuff panel? I want to add them to mine as well but am new to wordpress and can’t figure it out!
