Well, let's take it at face value and 'believe' that it is what it is. If so, both Pollard & Miller come off looking foolish. Scott Pollard flashing his 08/09 Championship ring is hilarious. Yes, you too can get some bling for anchoring a bench. But post that, he was pretty light-hearted and humorous. Miller was far too antagonistic, and loud-mouthed ("ballerz"? "wi-ki-pe-di-A"??)... The look on Miller's face when she found out that TNT allowed Pollard to turn up the day of the game was priceless.
Pollard came across as the good guy right up to the point where he challenged (tongue-in-cheek) a woman to a game of 1-on-1. Newsflash Scott, no win situation. If it occured, you win you look like an ass. You lose you look like a chump.
That all said and done, it all looked a little contrived to me.
What do you think?

I got 50 on Cheryl. One of if not the greatest female basketball players of all time vs a perennial bench warmer.

I've always liked Pollard. He marches to a different drum beat.
Classic asking Cheryl if she needed a cane!! Priceless.
Thanks for this nugget, Mali.

I hate NBATV now. It was great back in the days of Andre Aldridge, Rick Kamla, and that other dude doing highlights with an analyst like Fred Carter. I could even stand the incredibly east biased Peter Vescey.
Now, it's turned into a poor mans TNT. Secondhanders like Payton and Webber or Cheryl Miller and Pollard just sitting there, laughing the entire time. I can hardly follow any of their conversations, as they're really boring and just devolve into laughter. I used to tune into NBATV Daily for good basketball analysis, great highlight videos, and to know what went on that day in the NBA. Now, I tune into NBATV Gametime out of pure desperation, hoping and pleading that there will be something worthwhile. Usually, I'm quite dissapointed.
Now, understand, this is no knock on TNT or their style of coverage. It's fine for a tuesday when there were two to four games, and the main draw of the event is hearing the analysts go at it. But at least they give some analysis, and it's somewhat funny. NBATV just devoles into laughter and boring conversations instantly.
I miss you Andre Aldridge!
