How the hell is this NOT a flagrant? E-mail

Interesting... even tho' the Celtics resident thug (KG) is in street clothes, someone's picking up the slack in Boston.
How the hell was this not a flagrant foul? Have a look yourself (at the 2:30 mark of the vid):

Rajon Rondo doesn't even ATTEMPT to swing for the ball - it's clearly a swipe at Brad Miller's head!  Miller needed stitches in his mouth, is made to shoot the frees... and then still seeing stars the career 80% FT shooter misses both.
This... with the game on the line 104-106 down and 2 seconds left in overtime.
Talk about a travesty!
And the NBA in their glorious wisdom decide that this is not worthy of ANYTHING AT ALL, yet the following foul, is.
Sorry, that's just bullshit.

In the Orlando/Philadelphia game, Dwight Howard has found himself in a bit of trouble too...

I don't get it.  Howard's suspended for game 6, yet Rondo is allowed to play?
Rubbish.
Amazing that the two plays occur on the same day, yet receive such different treatment...

Rondo 6'1"
Miller 7'0"
Game 5 of a tight seris being played in Boston

That's how it doesn't get called. Not saying it's right, but the little guy will always get a bunch of 'wriggle room' on something like this.

On home court Rondo could have used a chain saw and it wouldn't get called, no matter who it was on.

The only way this gets called is if it is on Chicago's floor.

And I'm still not saying it's right.

I'm glad you're not saying it's right Rob...

I really, really hope that the NBA call them on this way.
Thuggery such as this shouldn't be allowed to occur. That hit cost the Bulls big time.

First of all, Rondo's foul should have been a flagrant. Like you said, he needed stitches in his mouth! He should have shot both flagrant free throws and the bulls should have gotten the ball back. With this, Miller would not have been under that much pressure to nail both free throws or subsequently game over. The refs did a horrible job on this play, no doubt about it. I dont think the foul warranted a suspension, but definately flagrant 1.

As for the Howard foul, you either have to be blind or a Howard 'sweaty' nuthugger, to not consider that a suspension. He clearly elbowed him on purpose and the sixers got ROBBED that Howard wasnt ejected. That was such a blatant foul...how are people even arguing whether that required a suspension or not. I watch enough MMA to know when an elbow was purposely thrown.
