As much as it pains me, and may even cause some slight heaving action, I need to agree with you on this one DL. Jones thinks he is playing great physical Denver style defence, but its really a bit of a blight on the game. Denver probaly thinks hes playing great defence as well, and Denver probaly would. But at this level, and this deep in to a post season, its really dissapointing to watch and i hope its not a trend that continues. I enjoyed watching Denver during the season but they have become increasingly dirty since the start of the post season, dirty to the point where im starting to actually think Cuban was on to something. But Orlando is not much better and a Magic v Nuggets final series make end up looking more like a UFC cage match.

It's spelled "Defense." Denver is a team that has been continually criticized for their soft D. I'm not surprised to see them stepping up and playing physical, even if it does get dirty sometimes.

Ummm Ace? Initially I typed a long, smart-ass retort to your pretty limited-in-scope correction. Then I thought "why bother?" Suffice to say that most of the English-speaking world doesn't necessarily spell it with an 's' (unless it's by people who have been influenced in some manner by the US version).
You might want to check your dictionary in the future.

To write off Dahntay Jones' play as merely "playing physical" that "sometimes gets dirty" is to undermine the game. He's playing brutish, thuggish basketball. As I said above - there's no place in the game for this.

Jones isnt just playing dirty. Hes acting like a fool as well. He's really doing himself or the game no justice and if Denver cant get past the Lakers, its going to make him look like an even bigger tool
